rest,
be free
no longer will you be bound
to the earth
by chains of suffering
instead you grow wings
and will fly
in eternal bliss
no longer will your
conscious be plagued
by worldly affairs
peace
will be all you know
you would not want me
filled with sorrow
as i would not want
you to be
instead, i will continue
to live
and be strong
for both our sakes
and as i do so
ill be grateful
that it is me and not you
that must walk
with this aching heart
our separation
is temporary.
