The Mews Poetry Slam

Calling all poets and aspiring poets! On November 16th, in lower Casado, we will be hosting a Poetry Slam from 7-8 pm.

The poetry slam will be divided into three events! The first is a poetry reading, where anyone will be able to share their original poetry! Second, we’ll be having a haiku battle, and for this participants will be writing haiku’s based on the theme selected during the event. Lastly, the third will be a “dramatic reading” where anyone can read their favorite pieces of poetry, but in the most dramatic way possible! There will be prizes for the winners of each event, and snacks will also be provided!
